Founded in Portugal in 1977, Vulcano offers the best solutions for hot water, with a range of products for consumer health and domestic uses and for central heating in three segments: Water Heaters and Electric Water Heaters, central heating and Solar solutions. Since the acquisition by the Bosch Group in 1988, the Vulcano brand is manufactured by Bosch Thermotechnology SA, present name of the unit of Aveiro, former Vulcano SA Thermodomestic European market leader since 1992, the third largest producer of water heaters in the world, and competence center of the Robert Bosch for this product (hot water).

One of Vulcano's priority areas of action is the use of renewable energies, including solar energy. Solar energy can be used to obtain the necessary heat to heat water for domestic needs, swimming pools or industrial needs and provide support for central heating systems.
